Q: Do you provide any medical benefits to employees?

A. Yes, Harbor Health Care, Inc. does pay a portion of a full time employee’s, individual medical benefit.  

Q:  How long does the application take to complete?

A:  The application takes about 45 minutes to complete.  Applications are only accepted on Monday and Wednesday between 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.  Plan accordingly.  Applications must be completed in the office.

Q: What shifts are available to Direct Care Staff?

A: Direct Care Staff positions work a variety of shifts.  Some shifts rotate 4 days on, 2 days off with shift times like 6-9:30AM, 2:30-11PM, 11PM-7AM.  Other shifts are set days of the week.  It all depends on the facility resident’s needs.

Q: What training classes are provided?

A: This is 24/7 health care; employees are trained in a variety of subjects including CPR, First Aid, Medication Certification, DDN Attendant Training, On-the Job Training modules.  DCS and LVN positions require ongoing training year round.
